Terms of service
The following guidelines have been put in place to ensure you can enjoy your Gift n' Pop balloon arrangement to its fullest potential. Please carefully read the below and always adhere to the following guidelines to ensure the utmost safety and care.
Collection, Storage & Care
It is recommended the recipient is gifted the balloon arrangement within 12 hours of collection to ensure optimal balloon quality. Stand time cannot be guaranteed and the balloons are affected by temperature and external factors beyond our control. It is best to pick up or have your gift delivered on the day you intend to gift, otherwise you will risk compromising the quality and stand time of your balloon. If you will be gifting the next day, it is crucial to advise us of this.
The nature of balloons are temporary and fragile so the following guidelines must be adhered to:
- Keep sharp objects away from the balloon prior to popping
- Always handle the balloon gently, only lift the balloon by the box base and keep as flat as possible
- Keep out of direct sunlight, balloons will be handed to you covered by a bag to protect the balloon from any sunlight or heat. It is recommended to keep the balloon covered with this bag on until gifting.
- Keep out of air conditioning
Once the balloon has left the care of Gift n' Pop and it is in the hands of the customer, Gift n' Pop is no longer responsible for the care of the balloon. If for any reason the customer requires a balloon redo, the customer will incur a redo fee of $50 for the balloon and personalisation, or $35 for just the balloon. Customers will also be required to bring the balloon and ALL of its contents back to Gift n' Pop to complete the service again.
Please note that sometimes during transportation, the contents inside the balloon can move around slightly. Please ensure to handle with the utmost care and adhere to the guidelines above.
Popping
Choking hazard - the balloons may contain small and sharp objects not for children under 3 years or any individuals who have a tendency to place inedible objects in their mouths. Always pop under adult supervision.
Allergies
Please note some sweets may contain traces of nuts. Latex may cause an allergic reaction to some people. Please seek medical advice if an allergic reaction occurs.
Personalised garments
If your arrangement includes any personalised clothing or accessories please adhere to the following:
- Do not dry clean
- Wash and dry garments inside out
- Choose cold or warm water temperature settings
- Use mild detergent
- Dry on a low/tumble setting or hang dry
- Do not iron directly onto the design
Please ensure you have provided us with the correct spelling for your personalisation details. If you have provided us with us with the incorrect details, a redo fee will be incurred if we have started the order.
Personalised glassware
If your arrangement includes any personalised glassware or bottles please adhere to the following:
- Handwash only
- Do not scrub
- Do not soak
- Do not use in the microwave or dishwasher

Product Substitution
Due to the nature of our business and the current climate, we rely on products being available. When an item is not available, Gift n' Pop reserves the right to substitute products with another item of similar quality and value without prior notice.
When a colour preference is unavailable, Gift n’ Pop reserves the right to select the most suitable colour scheme available for the gift without prior notice.
Product
Our balloon arrangements are hand made, so slight imperfections or variations may occur. Gift n’ Pop will not be help responsible should this occur.
Refunds and Cancellations
Once the order has been placed, refunds WILL NOT be accepted.
Should you wish to cancel your order, please let us know as soon as possible. We can only cancel orders if we have not started the order and a store credit is available for any cancellations. Store credits are valid up to a year.
Should you wish to change collection/delivery date of your gift, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice, however this date change will be subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Please do not request for any additional services or products in the additional notes section that are not apart of the package. We will not be able to refund your order if you wish to cancel.
Please do not write a different delivery date to the one selected in the delivery notes. If the date you are after is blocked out, it means we are unavailable. We will not be able to refund your order if you wish to cancel.
Please ensure you have provided us with the correct spelling for your personalisation details. If you have provided us with us with the incorrect details, a redo fee will be incurred if we have started the order.
Natural Disasters or Adverse Weather
If deemed unsafe or impossible to perform your delivery on your chosen date due to any natural disasters or adverse weather conditions (e.g. flooding, road closures, fires), your order will be delivered once deemed safe or physically possible.
If this is the case, you will not be entitled for a refund and if you choose to cancel the order, you will be issued a store credit.
Delivery
Gift n’ Pop serves the right to leave the gift unattended if there is no one to collect the arrangement. Gift n' Pop will not be held liable for any theft, damage, losses should this occur.
Exact delivery time cannot be guaranteed. Deliveries usually take place between 9.00am - 6.00pm, 7 days a week. Delays may occasionally occur in the event of any heavy traffic, accidents or roadworks.
Gift n’ Pop will charge a redelivery fee should you provide us with the incorrect address or insufficient address details. If we are required to remake the balloon for redelivery on another day, a redo fee will also be incurred. It is the obligation of the customer to provide accurate information when processing the order and Gift n’ Pop will not be held responsible for any incorrect deliveries due to incorrect address details.
If we are unable to gain access to the delivery location and cannot get into contact with the recipient after 10 minutes of waiting, we will have to forfeit the delivery and a re delivery fee will be charged.
Pickup
Pick ups may be organised from our location in Gladesville, Sydney during the time slots available at checkout. Please select the time that suits you best at checkout.
Please ensure you are on time to collect your order at your allocated pickup time slot. In the event you are running late, please advise us ASAP. If you are late, we cannot guarantee our availability after your allocated time slot, therefore an alternative pick-up time or day may be required
Under no circumstances will the customer be eligible for a refund if we are required to change the pickup time if the customer is not on time to their scheduled pickup time.
